Founded in 2011, Royal Weblab is a web development company that works on designing, building and maintaining websites.

We are a team of web developers and coding experts, and we like measuring ourselves  not by who we are, but by what have we designed, developed and deployed.

Never settling for the status quo or resting on the successes of today, we push our clients and our team, to go to the edge of what is possible and exceed their own expectations. Only then we can be sure that the final product is going to satisfy everyone’s expectations and even beyond that.

We like when things are perfectly organized, so that the process of building the website flows incessant.

To achieve that we split the development process into a couple of phases, each one including the clients and their needs.

Our Royal Phases

Initial Planning

In this phase, the phase of discovering and researching, we determine how the other phases will look like.

The most important thing in this phase is to define the main goals and objectives of the site, and the target audience you want to attract to your site. After that we create the sitemap, content list and organize the contents.

Usually, we just create simple layouts of the main pages to know where the things will be staying. After consulting with the client we continue to the next step.

Design

Creating the design is a very important phase. During this phase your website gets shape. We focus on finding the most appropriate design for the client’s website that will reflect and match their business.

The result of the design phase is the website layout. The layout represents the information structure, makes it easier to visualize the content and demonstrate the functionality to the client. The layout contains the colors, images, logos and gives general understanding of the whole project.

After finishing the layout, the customer can review the layout and send feedback. This phase may require some iteration until it gets right, but it’s very important to make sure the design is responsive and shows on every device.

Development

Here’s where the magic happens.

In this phase we sprinkle some code to the browser to show all the static web page elements that were designed in the previous phases. We create the template of the site and carefully write every line of code in order to stick to the original idea and design.

Frameworks and CMS should be implemented to make sure that server can handle the installation and set-up smoothly. Then, special features and interactivity should be added.

A deep understanding of every website development technology that you’re going to use is crucial at this phase.

Adding Content

After the template is created, the next phase is filling the site with information, i.e. adding the content.

Our team of content managers fills the site with content, especially paying attention to images and big files, and optimizing them to increase the performance of your site. We like to do these things ahead, before launching the site, so we can get better results and save time later.

The other important step is SEO (Search Engine Optimization). SEO is the optimization of website elements (e.g., title, description, keyword) that can help your site achieve higher rankings in the search engines. And, once again, valid code is pretty important for SEO.

Testing, Review and Launch

After everything is done, we face the client and talk about the finalizing the details, before launching the site.

When finalizing every detail, we continue with testing. We check every single link on the site, every form, every script, carefully go through the entire website to avoid any possible mistake.

After we check and re-check the website, it’s time to launch it and finish the after launch fixes.

Maintenance

The website is more a service than a product. So it’s not enough to just launch the site to the client.

We must continuously make sure that the site works without faults and to fix any problem as fast as possible.

Also, it is very important to keep your site optimized and engaged, and up to date with the latest trends. If you use a CMS, regular updates will prevent the site from bugs and decrease security risks.
